No. Klarna uses a soft credit check to approve your application, which is not visible to lenders and does not impact your credit score. Only if you miss a payment and Klarna refers you to a debt collector would it affect your credit file — and that's entirely avoidable.
You need to be 18 or over, a UK resident, and have a valid UK debit or credit card. Most applications are approved instantly. If you're declined, a standard card payment is always available — contact us and we'll sort it.
Payment 1 is taken immediately when you confirm your booking. Payment 2 is taken 30 days later. Payment 3 is taken 60 days after the first payment. Klarna will send you reminders before each one. Everything is managed through the Klarna app, where you can also see upcoming payments, adjust your card, and contact Klarna support directly.
Our standard booking policy applies regardless of payment method. If you need to reschedule, we require at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel without notice. In cases where a refund is due, it's processed back through Klarna to the original payment method.
Yes. Klarna is available on all session types, including guest artist bookings. Guest artist rates are set independently and will be confirmed at the time of booking — Klarna applies to whatever the agreed session cost is.
No. When you confirm your booking, you'll be given the option to pay via Klarna. Select it, complete the 60-second approval, and you're done. Download the Klarna app to manage your payments — it's cleaner than the browser experience and sends you reminders before each payment date.
Each session is treated as a separate transaction. You can choose to use Klarna for each session individually, meaning your payments spread out naturally alongside your appointment schedule.
Eligibility is assessed by Klarna at the time of payment. If you're not approved, you'll simply pay in full as normal. We won't cancel your appointment or treat you any differently — it's just an option, not a requirement.

Session fees
Whether your piece takes one session or several, each session fee can be split independently using Klarna.
Large format & multi-session
Bigger pieces mean bigger fees. Klarna makes ambitious work more accessible — without you having to wait until you've saved everything up front.
Touch-up appointments
Touch-ups included in your original quote can also be covered by Klarna where applicable. Ask your artist at consultation.
